life as it goes...

laying the slab

sarah and i have spent the last two weekends laying the slab for what will soon be the resting place of a new storage shed.  granted it will be a little bit before i buy the shed but at least the foundation has been laid.  and i have to admit - i could not have done it without sarah!! THANKS, FRIEND!!!!

BIG SISTER

so my big sister called me yesterday and told me that ashton's going to be a big sister.  jenn dressed ahston up in this shirt (it's hard to read but says "big sister") and took her to the sherwood firestation to tell clint.  I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED.  now i've got to start thinking about the fort that i'm going to have to build in the back yard for all these babies!!!

compost!!

last friday aaron austin and i went to the dump to drop off some things and to get some compost.  we got almost a ton and a half and that was almost enough to level the front yard. now it's time to get some sod!!  THANKS AARON for all your hard work and for the use of your trailer.

easter egg time...

i went to my mom's house last friday to hang out with her and ashton.  we grilled burgers and then made easter eggs.  she's getting so big! i should also mention that she did not want to wear the camo. she wanted to wear her pink shirt. reasoning with a a 2 year old - that went over well. anywho - we really had a good time. even mr. pico helped ashton find some eggs.

jason and the babies...

jason came in to town this weekend and i don't know how it happened but we did not get one photo together.  we're so bad about that.  but saturday morning - tara and becca brought the babies over to my house and i did manage to get a picture of their first visit.  and yes - mr. pico was still right there in the middle of all the action.

we also managed a grown-up outting with tara and becca on saturday night.  it was so nice to just hangout and laugh.  i miss you already POO!!! (aka-jason)

-sleepover-

ashton came over saturday night for a sleepover. we had planned a walk for the next day but mom left the stroller at home. so we ended up just driving over to tara and becca's to see the babies. i think ashton might have been more fascinated with the cat and the fact that 2 of their dogs look like mr. pico. she loves her some pico!!!
