-colorado 2009-
this year can be counted as a success as long as you're talking about no major injuries. and for the most part - we all got along well. we did the ski-in-ski-out like just like last year but this year our room overlooked the main slope in "river run". they also moved the gondola back from where it was last year so that made for even less walking with all our gear.
maggie and brian came to ski with us one day and jenn and i followed them to the "north peak" and then over to "the outback". it was snowing pretty hard that day so we really couldn't see much. but we still had a blast. then danielle and her sister found us at lunch time. so i made one run with them and that landed me face down on the mountain side. after that - it was time to call it a day.
we ate at one of the same places from last year and the crab legs were still VERY tasty! we also ate at the kickapoo tavern. and since danielle was in town - she took me to "the goat" and also to check out the "dam brewery". it was nice have a local around to show me all the hot spots. not to mention - her dad joined us for the mardi gras celebrations in the middle of the square. i was sad that becca couldn't make the trip this year but i know that those 2 babies are more than worth it!!!
